Without a doubt, the most formative experience was the bug list. Although it was an early assignment, it got me interested in the class and taught me a great lesson. We all have problems in our day-to-day lives that we brush aside and continue to let bother us. The thing I never realized is that many other people share similar problems that we continue to tolerate. I think will stick with me for years to come because I am now constantly looking for problems without an adequate solution. I am most proud of my elevator pitch. Elevator pitches were a thing that I had attempted before, but I never felt comfortable using them in real life. After making multiple recordings and critiquing myself, I feel that I could give an effective elevator pitch in person.
I think that I have become an entrepreneur throughout my experience in this class. As I stated previously, I see the world in a totally new light thanks to this course. I see the world as a ocean of problems that need solutions.
I would recommend for students to set a schedule for working on this class. Set aside a few hours each week to make progress on the assignments. Not to mention, take the comments your fellow classmates give you seriously!! Their feedback will help you become a more well-rounded student and person. I included this picture because an entrepreneur solves problems in a way that is unique.
Hey Zane,
ReplyDeleteI like how you are leaving this class on a positive note. You found a problem and want to fix it. I also agree with you that the bug list exercise was interesting because we got to take a look at the problems people face every day. The elevator pitch was also fun because we got to do it 3 times, which has helped us improve each time. Good job.
